Can't recommend highly enough for a getaway
Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable room, with the best breakfasts we've had in a B&B, and private parking included for easy access just 47 km from the nearest airport.
Everything great.

The room had a solid assortment of coffee, tea, biscuits, and bottles of water, making it feel welcoming. A comfortable bed and well-cooked breakfast options showcased the hotel’s effort to provide a satisfying stay.
The room was cramped and the single-pane sash windows didn’t block street noise, making sleep challenging with drunks singing and traffic outside. The bathroom was dated, lacking basic features like a soap ledge, and the decor felt stuck in time. the mattress was too soft for a good night's rest, leading to some uncomfortable rolling toward the center.

Perfect location and cozy vibes
We stayed for a night and the location couldn’t be better—just a quick stroll to the attractions! The staff were super friendly and even let us park for free before we checked in. Our room was comfy and quiet despite being on the main road. Just a heads up, the breakfast hours were a bit late for early risers.

The location was a highlight, just a short walk from main attractions, and the friendly atmosphere added to the experience. Breakfast offered a generous selection, with an emphasis on quality. the room's decor felt outdated, and the noise from the street made sleep difficult due to single-pane sash windows. the room showed signs of wear, with creaky floorboards and a stained carpet, impacting overall value for money.

Quirky decor reflects local culture, adding a charming ambiance. The pub below offers a cozy atmosphere with a roaring fire and a great selection of drinks, especially enjoyable during winter months.
No lift means heavy bags have to be lugged up multiple flights of stairs, which can take a toll after a long day of exploring. The room lacked soundproofing, allowing noise from the street and pub to disrupt sleep. single-pane windows didn't help. The heating system was quite noisy, making the nights less restful. The bathroom felt dated with minor amenities missing, and some furniture showed signs of wear. Breakfast had a tight time window of 8:30-9:00 AM, which may not suit those with early plans.
